Restorative/Gentle Yoga

For: Beginners or students looking for a very gentle introduction to Yoga. A way to slow down, relax and restore the body and mind. Excellent for students who have injuries and or ailments and are looking to regain strength and stability.

These 75 minute classes are made up of focused pranayama (breathing) practices to activate the diaphragm and deep abdominal muscles. The asanas have been modified to ensure that the main focus is on holding the body in a steady and secure posture so that the abdominal muscles of the body are utilized effectively.
Postures follow a similar sequence each week to allow the student to gain confidence and to build up strength and to practice at home. Classes end with pranayama (breathing) and yoga nidra (relaxation).

General Hatha Class

For: Intermediate students and students who have a basic understanding of Yoga and who are comfortable in a group setting.

These 75 min integral hatha yoga classes include asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and yoga nidra (relaxation). Students who have been doing yoga for a while as well as fairly new students to Yoga will enjoy these classes as they focuses on increasing flexibility, building strength and toning the body.

Each class is adapted to the groups level and ability. That means no two classes will be the same.

Intermediate Hatha

For: Mainly for intermediate and advanced Yoga students who have been practicing regularly.

These 75 minute classes incorporate asana, pranayama and yoga nidra. The pace gently builds up into sets of sequences that follow from warm ups with flexibility movements, to postures that flow in a meaningful manner. The emphasis is to bring strength, flexibility and overall physical health to the body whilst boosting mental and emotional well-being.

To Consider...:

Please ensure that you attend a class that is most suitable for your ability at this point in time. We do acknowledge that this is not always possible and therefor ask you to take care and to only do what your body feels capable of doing when attending a class that is above your current level.

If you are unsure as to which class would be most suitable for you, please contact us directly and we will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Private classes can be arranged if requested.
